here's a little something i made for a friends sisters baby shower. 

she's having a little girl (obviously) named zoe. =) i'm really happy with the way she turned out and i hope baby zoe is too.

last wednesday (06.23) was my birthday and my mom had a little sign and balloon outside my house when i woke up! the other side of the sign said "honk and wish kendra a happy birthday" so people were honking all day and driving luna crazy!!!

my birthday present from my wonderful hubby joshua came in the mail today!!!

i'm so excited!! i took some pictures with it and i LOVE it!!!!

he ordered it from this awesome website!  the price was the best around and the shipping was SUPER DUPER fast! we were very happy with the whole experience!

here's a look at the first few projects from RVA summer camp.

#1 summer log book

 i'm only about 80% happy with the way the log book turned out. i had a rough go at getting the pages lined up right. =( i'm super stoked about the cute fabric i found though.

i'm gonna try my hand at it again and hopefully i can work it out. 

project #2 button embroidery 

i'm really happy with the way the owl turned out!! i have another pattern and fabric in mind for my next one.  

project #3 (the beginnings)

i used the last ounce of sunlight for this photo but i'm kinda digging the way it's black in the background.  i'm using 4 shades of green for the mat and it's gonna go in the hubby's bathroom (which is painted bright bright green).

i know....i know....again with the kitty's in boxes (luggage in this case). he's just too much fun to photograph i can't stand it! =)

holy bee's!!! i was wondering around outside with luna yesterday and stumbled upon where all the cool bees hang out.

we have some bunny ears growing by our front door and the bee's just love them!

Hello blog world!! I thought it would be fun to show you some of my "thrifty" finds I have found in the past month or so.

I adore these salt and pepper shakers...they are so cute!



I bought this owl at my mom's consignment store (Consignment Unlimited).



Same owl half way done =). I'm not sure what the final color is gonna be. any suggestions?


I have recently become obsessed with all things science. I bought it at an auction for $1!! Woo-Hoo! I love a good deal! It was made in 1970 by Sears.


I love this super cute cookie jar! I got it at the same auction for $6! I have seen it in a local antique mall for $40 so I think I got a good deal!
